EQUILIBRATOR

The Equilibrator consists of a single-acting Hydraulic Cylinder, a piston accumulator and a Variable Orifice Proportional Valve with one end of valve connected to rod end port of the cylinder and other end connected to fluid end port of the Accumulator. This is a type of hydraulic valve that controls the flow rate of hydraulic fluid passing through it. The "variable orifice" refers to an adjustable opening that can be manipulated to regulate the flow. A proportional valve adjusts its opening in proportion to a control signal, allowing precise control of fluid flow.

Essentially, this setup allows for precise control over the movement and force generated by the hydraulic cylinder by utilizing the accumulator to store and release hydraulic energy, while the proportional valve regulates the flow of fluid between the cylinder and the accumulator.
